Kentucky ADA Coordinator, Norb Ryan, Inducted into Civil Rights Hall of Fame for his work with people with disabilities.

Norb Ryan, the Kentucky Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) coordinator in the Education and Workforce Development Cabinet, was inducted into the Kentucky Civil Rights Hall of Fame Oct. 15, 2010, for his work with people with disabilities.

Ryan, along with 30 other people, was inducted into the Hall of Fame by the Kentucky Commission on Human Rights. An independent, volunteer group of citizens elected the inductees out of more than 50 nominations from people in the state. Nominees are people who are from the Commonwealth or who have lived or worked in the state and have made progress for civil or human rights. Read more...
